Wisconsin Trucking Company Service One Transportation Will Send Military Memorial Truck to The Highground Expo; Veteran Driver Will Accept Applications for Truck Driving Jobs Onsite

PLYMOUTH, Wis., May 14, 2019 — Service One Transportation, a leading Wisconsin trucking and logistics company, has been invited to participate in the Helicopter, Military and Memorial Vehicle Expo in Neillsville on Saturday, May 18, 2019. The company will be sending one of its military tribute trucks to the event, which will be held at The Highground Veterans Memorial Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Service One’s fleet of tractor-trailers includes several custom-wrapped memorial trucks that pay tribute to the military and bear the names and affiliations of veterans within the Service One family. Driver Gary Pezze, a retired E-3 Lance Corporal who served in the Marine Corps from 1994 to 2002, will represent Service One at the expo. Pezze invites veterans and other attendees to seek him out at the event if they’d like to learn more about Service One and its truck driver jobs in Wisconsin.

“I’m excited to attend The Highground expo, and I look forward to showing off our tribute truck and meeting fellow veterans,” said Pezze. “I’d encourage anyone considering a truck driving career to stop by and chat with me at the event; I’d be happy to share my experiences at Service One. For those who already have a Class A CDL in good standing but are looking for a better job, I’ll have applications on hand and will bring them directly to our management team.”

Service One Transportation founder Daniel Flagstad was a Cold War veteran of the U.S. Army, and a number of employees are veterans or have family ties to the military. Today, the company is co-owned and operated by Flagstad’s son, Dan Jr., who is President of Service One, and Mike Myszewski, who serves as Vice President of Operations and Logistics.

“We are honored to have one of our military memorial trucks on display at The Highground Veterans Memorial Park,” said Myszewski, whose great-uncle and godfather, Ralph Myszewski, and father-in-law, Edward Kawczynski, served in the U.S. Army. “It is gratifying and humbling to have a truck that pays tribute to Service One family members at this profoundly moving site, which commemorates the selflessness and sacrifices of all who served our great country.”

The Helicopter, Military and Memorial Vehicle Expo is free and open to the public. To kick off the event, a Vietnam-era UH-1H helicopter will be landing at The Highground just before 10 a.m. In addition to the Huey helicopter, the expo includes military vehicles of various types and ages as well as memorial vehicles dedicated to those who have served and sacrificed for the United States. The event will also feature a Legacy Honor Stone placement at 10 a.m. and a Vietnam Reunion/Education Afternoon in the Learning Center at 2 p.m.
